It started in a busy bar. A former Coca-Cola executive — 20 years in, Senior Vice President, Chairman of 12 Japan bottlers — decided the corporate world had taken enough. He was done playing by the rules.

One night at The Cabin Bar in Niseko, Japan, the challenge was simple: make something nobody has ever tasted before. The result was Chilly Niseko.

When the Park Hyatt Niseko asked to serve it, the recipe wasn't going anywhere. So it went into a bottle instead.

How To Make A Chilly Niseko

Step 1 — Fill a glass generously with ice.

Step 2 — Pour 60ml of Chilly Niseko over the ice.

Step 3 — Top with your spirit of choice, or keep it as a mocktail.

Step 4 — Add soda water or your preferred mixer.
